The book contains photographs of 105 different wildflowers that can be found on or near the trail. Each photograph comes with a brief description of a flower's common name, scientific name, plant family and location, as well as a brief description of the flower. The flowers are ordered in their time of appearance -- from Bloodroot in the spring to New England Aster in the fall.
