A late spring snow revealed that the spiders are out and about. This web was created by an orb spinner. I searched, but could not find or identify its creator.
Sheet webs could be found on the ground and between the dead stems of last years wildflowers.
Long strands of spider silk hung across the trail -- covered with delicate chains of snow.
